Consider the use of a saliva replacement gel or spray to help maintain the balance in your mouth and moisturise |

Avoid very dry foods, including chocolate and pastry, which can stick to the top of your mouth |

If your mouth is sore avoid salty or spicy food that may sting or rough-textured food such as toast |

If you wear dentures make sure that you remove them for as long as you can at night and clean them with a specialist cleanser |

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about your dry mouth and ask your dentist for oral health advice |
