Sustainability

As a company we are committed to helping dry mouth sufferers improve their oral health through the development of products that genuinely help reduce symptoms and keep mouths comfortable and healthy. But that shouldn’t come at the expense of the planet we occupy.

Working with Positive Planet we have undertaken a detailed audit (results can be found here) and measurement of our total carbon emissions, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and have developed a comprehensive carbon reduction plan which outlines our commitments to:

We have already made progress across our business and are proud to have been awarded a BRONZE award recognising the efforts to date, including:

The plastic in our mouthrinse and spray bottles and caps are fully recyclable. Check with your local recycling centres.

We have reconfigured the cartons of our 75ml toothpaste to reduce the amount of card used whilst increasing the number of units that can be transported on a pallet.

Fewer pallets means less transport associated emissions.

All printed promotional materials use recycled stock and we minimise the quantities being produced to reduce potential wastage.

The Oralieve head office is solar powered – we have 36 solar panels fitted to the office and over 70% of our energy requirement is fully renewable! The remaining energy purchased is from fully renewable sources.

We have installed energy efficient LED lighting throughout the head office.

We provide electric car charging facilities on site.

All of our primary and secondary card packaging is from renewable FSC sources and is fully recyclable.

All waste is sorted and recycled.

Clearly there is more to do and we are committed to achieving our target of Net Zero by 2033.
